Learn how to string your own and other folks’ racquets on one of our racquet stringing courses.

 

Whether you want to string your own racquets or offer a racquet stringing service to others, you will find my courses provide you with all the skills you require. In-house courses are conducted on a One-to-One learning model, thus allowing students to have complete control over the questions they ask and pace that they learn.

 

In this way, students get to take part in high-quality interactions with their instructor  as lessons are tailored to suit your ability and requirements though there are fixed course outlines.

Topics covered includes:

  • Frame Structures and preparation.
  • Machine/Tool types.
  • Machine calibration and maintenance.
  • String composition and characteristics.
  • Standard stringing patterns, techniques and knots.
  • Hybrid stringing.
  • Grommet replacement.
  • Basic grip replacement and size issues.
  • Introduction to membership of the USRSA.

3 Sessions x 3 Hours: S$250.00


An ideal preparation course for anyone who is considering applying for USRSA certification.


As an USRSA certification tester, I can assess your overall stringing ability according to recognised standards, offer guidance on the best path to follow to achieve certification and offer you advice on techniques to help you improve your stringing and the service you give your customers.

6 Sessions x 3 Hours: S$450.00

 

This course is designed for those that already have some stringing experience and would like to improve on their skills and a desire to improve your skills so that you can offer a stringing service to other players.

 

Group sessions are only available for brands collaboration.

12 Sessions x 3 Hours: S$960.00


No previous stringing experience is required although some knowledge of string technology would be an advantage. A course for the absolute beginner who would like to learn how to string their own racquets.

Fundamental course is for players, coaches, teaching professionals, sales professionals and shop staff who are called upon to provide their expertise in the game but don’t actually service the racquets.

 

The course covers all aspects of frame and string technologies, knowledge on how to fit players with the ideal racquet-string set-up for varying conditions of the game.

 

Fundamental Course is only available for brands/clubs/associations/schools collaboration.
